I'll confess now that I found this piece unapproachable. If it was not for the MA I would not have spent even as much time on it as I did trying to decipher it.
Anathema to Dyslexia.
Pity, because the bits I did read were interested and engaging, a confessional slightly comic rant on the angst of being a so called professional artist.

Reflection
Distraction city Alabama, with textual side roads, columns! random numbers, irregularities and all. I do, however, like constructionist poetry, whose shape resemble meaning, and also random flux writing.
I was also somewhat disappointed to learn in the video lecture that Jo Lee had delegated much of the design. Personally I can't imagine not maintaining control of so personal a work.
The project itself, and the long term commitment involved in producing this by hook or by crook, seems to me very much what an art practice is about - for self expression and realisation. Multitasking - some things make money, some cost money, but it all goes on, like life.
