Myriad. Paradoxical Objects

Paper and card have been used as conduits for art and ideas for centuries, yet other media add layers of context. Skeleton leaves are a delicate material, requiring a high level of manipulation in the digital printing process, adding duality, and making the prints at once objects and images. Within a leaf: a tree, a sky, a hand. Within a book: an idea of the world.

I often abstract and then layer imagery to offer the viewer multiple aspects and meanings. I am interested in the paradoxical edges between areas of art, the solid nature of film, the objectness of images, the feel of sound.
