Regarding Form Frame Fracture, I found myself interested in the words, and in writing them over and over, on top of each other.
I was thinking about what the words Form Frame Fracture mean, but not writing in any form which matched meaning particularly.
I wanted to make a bit of a leap in the project, and not necessarily follow the brief too closely. I know Angela said to choose the sequence of the words in advance, but I do believe I am choosing to ignore that, and not to understand any need for that.
I am thinking of the words all at once, almost as if they are interchangeable, variable concepts, wavering in and out of definitions, to do with each other, and with much overlap of meaning.
I don't want to take the project too literally - ideas of inverting or shattering framing thoughts seem too limited and illustrative. I want to boldy go where I have not gone before.
The marks form their own language. The markings form hieroglyphics or abstracted drawings. I framed then separately in little photos from my mobile.
I am interested in the inky tangles of knots, the depth of scribble.
So far this is territory I have explored before. These are like film stills.

Link to Drawing, moving image piece on my website:
Drawing from the pencil’s eye view. The act and motion of drawing smudges the edges of feel, intention and mark making. The pencil seems to know what it is doing once it is set free.

I am also interested in looking through, in layering, and suggesting underlying sublayers.
Towards the subtle, the subliminal and nearly invisible once again. I'm still waiting for myself to step out from Kansas and into glorious technicolour as I have been intending to, after a year or two of practically monochrome work.
Again I am looking again at previous and favourite ideas - indentations of drawings, the page underneath the drawings or writing with phantom markings.
